The Arrival

Sara and Stella are doing well. It seems like an oxymoron to say it was a pleasant labor, but according to those doing all the work, it was a pretty good day. We spent last night at the hospital, took advantage of the nursery and got some sleep. Mom and baby had a few checkups this morning and it looks like everyone will come home this evening.

Roy anxiously awaits Stella's arrival. I gave him a little baby hat that she wore last night so he could get accustomed to the scent. Apparently this is what you do so the dog doesn't get "wierd" around the baby. Roy chewed on the hat for awhile and then carried it around. Hopefully that isn't what Roy has planned for Stella. We'll see.
