Block party

Our street had a block on Thursday night. It started with a parade, which Stella was preparing for in the photo to the right. Later in the evening the fire department came by with some trucks, and after that the police canine unit stopped by. Stella wasn't sure what to think of the German Shepard - he's a little bigger than Roy, although much more well behaved.

It's a big day today - Stella turns one! Hard to believe. We're having a party this afternoon. I will post pictures after the cake is destroyed and the presents are opened.
