Catching up

We've had a few "events" since my last post a couple weeks ago, including our first real snowfall and Thanksgiving. The snow has melted and the leftovers are gone, but the pictures remain. We also picked up our Christmas tree and the girls did some decorating. Everyone is very excited for Christmas.

Stella continues to enjoy school. The long Thanksgiving weekend reminded us that school is a very good thing for her - Sara and I are far too boring to keep her occupied for very long anymore. Her Kindergarten celebrated 50 days of learning with a 50's themed day. Stella wore Sara's "poodle skirt" crafted by her mom circa 1980.

Lucy is talking and dancing all the time - the talking seems pretty natural, the dancing is somewhat inexplicable, but she sure enjoys it and will put on a show with virtually no prodding. She also likes to walk around with her shades one. She seems very old these days, suddenly closer to a little girl than a baby.
