Halloween

So, I took a bunch of pics of the girls before they went out trick or treating.  I just learned that the memory card was not in the camera.

Stella was a cheetah and Lucy was Ariel the mermaid princess.  I have a few shots of Stella from the 2nd grade party (more on that in a minute).  If you would like to see Lucy's costume, look back at November 2009 for Halloween pictures where you will see Stella debuting the costume.  Lucy was supposed to be princess Belle this year.  We ordered a Belle costume and she wore it several times, but on Halloween she decided to use one of the old ones handed down from her sister that long since became a "daily dress up" outfit.  Go figure.

A few days before Halloween we hosted (along with Kris and Troy) a party for the entire second grade.  It was a scene - we had very few declines (23 attendees).  In total things went well.  The party probably could have been an hour shorter than its scheduled 3 hours, but everyone emerged in one piece. The highlight was the donut eating contest which involved a race to eat a donut suspended from a string without using your hands.  Stella lost one of her front teeth during the race.
