The routine is no routine

I am learning that although newborns only sleep, eat and go to the bathroom, they do not do this with any regularity. I was told this many times during the last 9 months but did not understand it until now. Stella continues to eat a lot and grow very rapidly. She is already getting too big to hold her the way I did when we came home from the hospital.
