Let them eat cake!

In case there was any doubt, we have confirmed that eating birthday cake is a whole body experience. The bouquet of the frosting, the psychedelic blue, the rich black, the greasy skin. Mmmmmm. As you can see, Stella enjoyed her birthday cake and we enjoyed watching her enjoy it. She was a little tentative at first (see the photo below), but got rolling after awhile. Frosting was flying everywhere.

This is another birthday of sorts . One year ago today this blog was started, and I have to admit, all the cliches are true - it's hard to understand where the time goes. It seems like Stella was just born. Hopefully the pictures and commentary have given everyone a taste of Stella's first year. It's been fun.
