It's not Christmas, but it's still pretty cool

The Easter bunny arrived, and while Stella still doesn't quite grasp the entire concept, she enjoyed the basket full of loot and a full day of candy consumption. In the photo to the right, she is modeling some of her inedible Easter bounty - a new pair of sunglasses and a cell phone. Very cosmopolitan.

We did a little Easter egg hunt first thing in the morning at our house. This required a bit of prodding, especially once Stella realized there were M&Ms inside the plastic eggs she had already found. We did manage to direct her to all 12 eggs that were hidden though. After heading to church, we went to her cousin's house for brunch and the basket hunt. Significant amounts of sugar were consumed. Naps were hard to come by.

In other news, Stella used her "potty chair" for the first time today! After several weeks of keen interest in sitting on the potty and going through the motions, toilet paper and all, she suddenly decided to actually go to the bathroom. I think we still have a significant number of diapers in our future, but as you can imagine, this is very exciting news.
