Busy days

Spring has been a busy time here. With the thaw came the realization that our year is basically mud and weeds. We've nursed our fledgling lawn back to health after a rough winter, have sara's garden nearly set, and should have the swing set operational in the next few weeks. A driveway and some screening between the house and the road are also in process, but those are being done by professionals.

The girls are doing well, although Lucy needs to get tubes in her ears - much like her sister, the ear infections are coming regularly. We are hoping it improves her mood as she has been a bit testy lately. As you can see from the photo above, she continues her love affair with Roy and is willing to give him a fair share of her meals. Unlike the poking and pinching, Roy is 100% on board with this interaction.

Not much else going on, hopefully the next photos will be of us playing in the yard.
