Ice Skating

We've finally taken advantage of the ice skating rink (complete with warming hut) across from our house. In fact, Stella has skated 2 days in a row. Lucy even came to watch today, although she didn't make it out of the stroller. This was due in part to her absolute unwillingness to keep her mittens on. By the time we got home, her hands were as cold as ice. As for the skating, Stella has mastered the "get up after you fall" move, which is obviously critical. Locomotion is developing slowly, but she can get from point A to point B, it just takes a little time. She hasn't quite grasped the idea that you have to angle the pushing foot. All in due time.
