Christmas 2011

It's in the books - 5 nights and 4 full days in Nebraska practically quarantined with all your cousins. How much fun can you possibly have? Never too much! We have returned from Nebraska with presents, memories and a profound fatigue that can only come from Christmas.

Some highlights:

• presents from Santa
• decorating cookies with Grammy
• eating, playing and sleeping with your cousins
• staying up late
• Pappa reading Polar Express
• dancing to the Wii game (see the video at the end)
• Warm weather and a few holes of golf

The video below is but a small taste of the non stop dancing that went on over the course of the holiday. The girls are following dancer on a Nintendo Wii game on the TV trying to score points for their form. I am not much of a dancer, but I identify with Lucy more than the other two - she has that free spirit Woodstock groove going on. Incidentally, if you listen carefully, you can hear the singer say something about "to the ground" when Lucy hits the deck.
