Think outside the box

Stella would like to remind everyone that even if you spend most of your day inside the box, it shouldn't stop you from thinking outside of it. We're not quit sure what prompted this pose. Perhaps it was her upcoming trip to Milwaukee and concern that she wouldn't be able to join us if she didn't pack herself appropriately.

As for our trip to Milwaukee, Stella put on quite a show and enjoyed all the attention she received. Within a couple hours of our arrival, she wanted nothing to do with me or Sara, and repeatedly requested that "papa do it" or "grammy do it." It didn't really matter what "it" was. The only thing she had to say to her loving parents was "No, no, no, go away mommy/daddy." Apparently the flattery got the better of my parents, as they suggested Sara and I go play golf while they ran some errands with Stella. Despite our assurances that she was all emptied out, Stella managed a poop on their watch. This was quite possibly the first diaper they changed since I was loading my pants thirty-some years ago. Nice work Stella!

As a token of our gratitude, Stella and I helped to clean the deck. Sara opted for a cold beer and blank stare while sitting on the deck. All the way around it was an excellent visit.
