4th trimester: Maggie, Nolan, Kris

After 4 days in the Wisconsin Dells with her cousins, there was nowhere to go but down. Stella has been murmuring "Maggie, Nolan, Kris" like some sort of mantra ever since coming home. The Maggie and Nolan piece isn't too surprising considering the three of them ran as a pack. The Aunt Kris piece is a little more interesting. Stella has always had a soft spot for Kris, but has taken a particular liking to her following the trip. Perhaps it is the simple fact that Kris delivers Maggie and Nolan for various play activities, kind of like how Santa brings presents. It seems a little deeper than that, but who knows. For now we'll just listen to her repeat "Maggie, Nolan, Kris" as she falls asleep at night, and laugh when she says "no home" whenever we pull up to our house.

We had a good trip, although yours truly was a little under the weather compliments of Miss Stella. What seemed like a minor cold for her knocked me out for a couple days. I guess 12 hours of sleep a night and a two hour nap daily makes for a more robust immune system. At any rate, I will let the pictures do the talking.
