Christmas

We've returned from a successful trip to Milwaukee for Christmas, although it wasn't without incident. In addition to a little snow on the drive down we had a some drama during a lunch stop at Culvers in Steven's Point WI. Without going into unpleasant detail, I'll just say that Lucy had a bit of an intestinal bug that overpowered her diaper to such a degree that her entire outfit ended up in the Culver's garbage. Needles to say Stella and I were surprised when Sara emerged from the bathroom and Lucy was sitting in her car seat wearing only a diaper.

After we arrived in Milwaukee the standard Christmas festivities began. Highlights for Stella included some American Girl gear for her doll and a tennis racket (very popular), for Lucy some books a "pillow pet" shaped like a bumble bee. The girls also got some matching hats which yielded one of our best photos of the them to date.
