Spring Break

Yesterday we returned from a week long spring break trip to sunny Branson, MO. It was an interesting adventure. After an inauspicious start (Lucy vomiting upon arrival at the Comfort Inn in Chillicothe, MO for our layover), we turned things around and seemed to enjoy each day more than the last. In general, I can't say Branson offers enough more than the Wisconsin Dells to warrant the extra 8-9 hours of driving, but it was fun to check it out. The girls did a lot of swimming, Sara and Stella saw a show, we went to an amusement park, and checked out a butterfly exhibit.

We had some friends staying at our house while we were gone and they stuck around and shared Easter morning/day with us. There were many Easter eggs to find, a lot of candy to eat, and of course sweet rolls (see below) and ham.

I would love to write more, but I am exhausted beyond description - much like Lucy in the photo above. Yes, she did in fact fall asleep on my head while in Branson. Good night. Enjoy the photos.
