New shoes

After spending consider- able time in the closet playing with Sara's shoes, we decided it was time to get Stella her first pair of proper shoes. As you can see below, they are very snappy. Of course now the pressure is on - she needs to walk before she outgrows them. She doesn't seem to mind them although still prefers to go barefoot. Considering they cost more than my shoes, she better learn to love them.

Stella has become fond of sitting in real chairs. We have a little rocking chair that she always climbs in, especially if the TV is on (she like to stand in it too, which isn't so great). She also like to sit in the big rocking chair in her room and read books to Roy. It's very curious.

Walking and talking feel like they are just around the corner. We'll keep you posted.
