Disney World!

Stella is returning today from a week long trip to Orlando with her cousins. I came home a few days early, but stuck around long enough to join her for trips to Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Sea World.

The weather was a little hit and miss, with below average temperatures and a bit of rain on Magic Kingdom day. This didn't seem to bother Stella too much who was very focused on both rides, and more importantly meeting various Disney characters and Princesses. At one point we had made it through a gauntlet of character meetings, autograph signing, and and photos. We emerged from the building after close to an hour and discovered Chip and Dale outside with a long line of little people waiting for a meet and greet. Sara and I were a bit burned out of waiting lines and suggested we walk around and come back later. Stella responded by saying "sometimes you have to be patient and wait in line for things." Needless to say, we got in line and met Chip and Dale.

Another favorite was the magic carpet ride which involved going in circles for about 2 minutes. They key to its appeal was Stella's ability to control the height of the carpet with a personal controller.

All the way around it was a good trip although all participants are exhausted and ready for some downtime.
