Two headed monster

I came home to this two headed monster the other day. Sara asleep on one end, Stella on the other, and not surprisingly, Roy underneath in the middle. Stella doesn't take too many naps anymore, but sometimes she really needs one. The thing is she won't take one in her room. She will occasionally fall asleep on the couch if someone lays down with her though. In that regard Sara is always willing to take one for the team and grab some space on the couch.

Although you might think that Sara and Stella are inseparable, the other day Sara had a number of non family commitments (don't worry, no Tiger Woods behavior here) which led Stella to comment: "you must not be my mom anymore because you're going so many places." Well there you have it. Motherhood is a tenuous situation.
