Staycation

We're already tired of the cold weather, and facing a Sunday stuck in the house, I decided to use some of the points I have accumulated with the fine people at Marriott to book a room at a nearby hotel for a day of swimming at their indoor pool.

We arrived around noon, hit the pool for an hour and half, retired to the room for some snacks and a movie, then returned to the pool for another quick swim.  We followed that with dinner on the way home.  We never saw another guest the whole time we were there.  It was a nice excursion.  We may try it again at some point in the coming weeks - the forecast is rotten.
