Mexican sun

We returned late last night from a trip to Cabo San Lucas with Sara's family (her parents, sisters, husbands and their kids).  What used to be an annual affair pre children has become a bit less frequent due to increasingly complicated logistics, but Sara's mom and dad decided to try to pull it off one more time.  It had been 4 years since our last trip down, but all seemed very familiar.  Stella and her cousins did enough swimming for a lifetime and Lucy had her first true experience running with the pack.

We spent most of our time at the pool, but did venture out with the kids for a whale watching expedition wherein at least half of our party suffered some minor motion sickness.  We did see some whales, although most of us had seen whales before, so it was generally agreed that we wouldn't need to do it again should we find ourselves presented with the option.  Everyone except Lucy that is.  After slipping into a state nothing short of a coma as soon as the motion of the ocean took over, she awoke as we steamed into the harbor and pronounced that she wanted to go back out and see the baby and mama whale again.  I didn't have the heart to tell her she hadn't seen anything other than the inside of her eyelids.

P.S.  Lucy did crap in the pool once - 95% swimsuit containment.  It's hard to make time for a poop when you are having so much fun and potty training is so new.  It was handled discretely by myself......and when I say handled I mean it.
