Mother's Day

Mother's Day began with a short sleep in for mom and then some coffee and presents in bed.  I'm not sure what we did after that, but we killed a couple hours before a midday brunch.  Despite the big spread, Lucy required a special order of spaghetti.  I don't think she has had actual spaghetti with sauce more than once or twice in her life, but she was near obsessed about it this morning.  The afternoon was spent doing some planting and lamenting the cold breeze that was blowing.  It is tough when you are still considering a winter jacket in May.  Of course it's supposed to be 92 on Tuesday. Bizarre.

That's about it.  We've got a few more weeks of school left and then it's summer - we're all ready for a break from the routine.
