Trick or Treat

While still probably a little early to really appreciate the concept, Stella did get in the Halloween spirit yesterday. She borrowed the friendly alligator costume from her cousin Nolan. She seemed to like it, although the massive head made her tilt to one side while walking. The result: If placed in an open space she walked in a circle.

Trick or treating was a bit of a bust. It started around Stella's bedtime so we were already swimming upstream a little. Nonetheless, Stella made it down the street to the Schmidt's house where she and Riley exchanged some Halloween pleasantries (that leg doesn't look quite right does it - see below). Sara had plans to take her a few other places, but was too tired. Apparently it was getting past mommy's bedtime as well. Next year should be a little more exciting.
