Walking machine

I left for a golf trip on Thursday and I would say that Lucy was experimenting with walking, probably spending 30% of her time walking and 70% crawling. When I returned on Sunday I was greeted by her striding down the hallway. In the course of 3 days she has committed to full time walking. She seems intrigued by it and enjoys just walking around with no particular destination.

It is hot here. Tropical in fact. I believe the heat index today reached 114. We continue to use the stock tank pool, as well as the local public pool where I am told Stella is becoming more and more comfortable in the water. I look forward to her English Channel crossing next year.
